Coaching
Are you thinking about career progression or returning to work after a break? Is there a workplace issue you’d like to overcome or would you like to explore your future career options? If so coaching could help you.
What is coaching?
Coaching helps you to be the best you can be by helping you think through your options and formulate plans for your future. Coaches don’t give you instructions; they ask questions so that you can figure out your options.
The Wales Coaching Centre, based within the University of South Wales Commercial Services, offers highly effective, proven coaches who collectively recognise that coaching is a key management and leadership development tool that enables employees to realise their potential. Diverse companies across all sectors and of all sizes are using coaching to the significant benefit of their workplace.
Who could benefit from coaching?
The Centre’s professional coaches are available to individuals in working or studying in STEM. The coaches work at all levels from senior management and leaders and those on the first rungs of their career ladder.
Quality assured coaches
All of our coaches are qualified to ILM Level 7 Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring standard or have achieved an equivalent qualification. They take part in Action Learning Sets and receive peer coaching or coaching supervision. This ensures that you receive a high quality professional service from highly motivated individuals.
The coaching process
Coaching provides you with a safe space in which you will be encouraged to reflect on skills and abilities, problems and solution and future goals. Prices available on request.
